The State and Local Government Benefits Association (SALGBA) is a national organization whose purpose is to provide its members with educational and collaborative support.

SALGBA conferences bring public sector benefits professionals together for educational and networking opportunities.

On Tuesday, September 21, Coriell Life Sciences’ Chief Science Officer, Dr. Jeffrey A. Shaman, will present the Economic, Clinical, and Humanistic Outcomes (ECHO) of CLS’ Genetics-empowered Comprehensive Medication Management Program, Corigen®. At previous SALGBA meetings, predictive modeling and preliminary outcomes from a pharmacogenomics program were presented. Pharmacogenomics (PGx) is the study of how a person’s DNA impacts his or her response to medication. At this year’s event, Dr. Shaman, along with CLS’ Marketing Director, Paul Chernin, will present a 36-month analytic review of the PGx-empowered comprehensive medication management program with the retiree population of the Teachers’ Retirement System of the State of Kentucky.
