Medication Compatibility Check for Amcor Employees

Limited to the first 100 enrollees

If you take medications – or could take medications at any point in the future – you can benefit from a medication compatibility check, available through Amcor in partnership with Coriell Life Sciences – at no additional cost to you.

For a limited time only, we are launching a small pilot program to trial this solution for the first 100 Amcor employees who enroll.

With this valuable benefit, you are eligible to receive a confidential, at-home test kit that can identify if the medications you take now or may take in the future are safe and effective for you based on your DNA and lifestyle factors. Knowing how your DNA impacts your response to medication can help you and your doctor make sure you’re on the right medication for you, minimize harmful side effects, and improve how you feel every day.

To use this benefit:

  • Enroll today at coriell.com/amcor-enroll or call (888) 456-9184.
  • A pre-paid and pre-labeled DNA test kit will arrive at your home. The kit requires only a small sample of your saliva.
  • Once your DNA* has been analyzed, you will receive a medication compatibility report. A pharmacist will review the report with you, as well as any recommendations, with your doctor.

Benefits of the Medication Safety Program

Rather than spending critical time going through multiple rounds of medication adjustments to get the drugs and dosage just right, our Medication Safety Program helps ensure you are taking the right medication for you – right away.

The benefits of such personalized medicine using our convenient at-home medication compatibility testing include:

Medication errors icon

Prevent Prescribing Errors Treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions rarely account for genetic variation, thereby subjecting patients to ineffective treatment or exposure to harmful side effects.

Harmful reactions icon

Reduce Harmful Reactions Adverse drug events alone represent a litany of poor healthcare outcomes1-3 and are a common cause of hospitalizations each year4-6.

Side Effects icon

Avoid Side Effects Medications developed to improve health, cure disease, fight infections, and protect patients are ineffective or cause side effects in greater than 50% of patients7.

Not Taking Medications Currently?

Like testing for allergies, knowing which medications you will not respond to well is important information for you and your doctor to have before a need arises. Since your DNA never changes, finding out which medications you should always avoid is powerful and beneficial for the rest of your life. That’s the key to avoiding the risks and costs of trial-and-error prescribing.
